December 1/05
This just in: gig confirmed at Zaphod's for December 30th. Steve Stacey and the Stump Splitters will be joining us for this one, and we'll probably be doing a little singer-swaperoo at some point, just for the hell of it. The theme for this night shall be announced as soon as we think of it. See the Dates section for details.

We wanna thank Bloodshot Bill for having us out in Montreal this weekend to open up for him at L'Escogriffe. We had a great time out there, the crowd was awesome, Bill was awesome, the strippers were.... we'll never know, none of us had a chance to check out the peelers. Let's assume they were as skeezy as ever. Go check out Bloodshot Bill if you haven't already.
Soon to come: we're gonna make some t-shirts. They will have sleeves, possibly some writing or pictures, hopefully devoid of pubes and mouse poop.
And a reminder: go listen to our live songs on the music page.

Happy Hallowe'en kids, take a look at the pictures page for some shots of our last show at the Rainbow, featuring Lefty dressed as a pirate, as well as the new line-up.
Also, go to the--
Whassat? Yeah, the new line-up. Shit, we never told you? Our mistake. We've added a band member, the wonderful Cassandra, who's taken over bass-guitar duties. Rick, the multi-talented swiss-army musician that he is, has transmogrified into a lead guitarist. We sound precisely 830X better with a second guitar (this is an extremely accurate figure based on reading chicken intestines) and you'll see proof of that if you come out the next show (TBA). We'll be doing some fancy on-location band photography in the near future, to show you guys what we look like now (answer: better).
Anyways, we were saying... go to the music page for NEW SONGS just posted today. These were recorded live at Zaphod's back in September. Enjoy 'em and spread the word.

Possible: A big surpise at the next show. You won't know unless you show up.

The really big show at Zaphod's was a smash hit last night. Thanks of course to the Botched Suicides and to Steve Stacey and the Stump Splitters (now with mandolin!) for coming out and getting the crowd all riled up. We gave out a bunch of free promotional stickers which hopefully we'll see plastered upon people's bumpers and books and children's faces in the near future. Also, special thanks to Allison and Vince, who set up a recording doohickey on the sound board and recorded the entire set in a whaddyacallit, digital format. Coming soon, a Lefty McRighty and the Boxcar Cadavers Live at the 'Phods CD. Complete with cuss words and references to Lefty's inapporpriate erection.
Upcoming shows: Wednesday October 14th, Zaphod's again, opening for Elliot Brood (a KICK-ASS band out of Toronto). It'll be a pleasure to open for those dudes, Lefty saw them once before with the John Henrys and whoa la, those dudes are somethin' else. Check 'em out at http://elliottbrood.ca/, and check 'em out live at the bar. Go to the DATES section for details.
And finally, we'll be putting some live pix from the Zaphod's show as soon as we get our mitts on 'em. 'Til then, keep on truckin' and GIT 'ER DONE!

The photergraphs section has been updated, with some new pics and some better-looking versions of old pics (thanks Holly for making Lefty's moustache more visible). We've confirmed the opening bands for the Zaphod's show in September. The Botched Suicides will be starting the night off, followed by Steve Stacey and the Stump Splitters. Go check out his site in the Links section. It's super-way-cooler than this bullshit website. However, stevestacey.com doesn't showcase Steve's awesome moustache that he's been sporting lately, so score one point for leftymcrighty.com.

We played at Aloha Room two nights ago... thanks to the Botched Suicides for getting everyone pumped/scared. Those dudes were pretty cool... We had Lefty's dad-in-law Ray (from the Sun-Bleached Skulls) playing the bass that night because Rick couldn't get out of work on time. That went pretty smooth, he's a solid bass player, superb improviser and supreme master of dad-jokes.
In the upcoming shows department, we'll be hitting up Zaphod's again, on Wednesday, Sept. 14th. That's gonna kick ass, maybe if you're lucky we'll play the 8-minute epic known as I Left My Heart In Your Suitcase. See Dates section for details. AND GO VOTE FOR US AT TWANGCITY, PUNK!
July 20/05
Zaphod's show was two nights ago, we ate that place alive. Tore it a new one. Eugene, the owner at Zaphod's, invited us back in September. Word on the street is, he was "really diggin' that country thang".
Next show: Redneck Olympics somewhere in the Quebec forest, and then Aloha Room on August 10th. Seeya there punk.
